Gotham S5 - 80%
The end..
- Didn't really care for Bane..
- Didn't really care for how Barbra turned out with getting pregnant and such..
- Before Joker was fantastic but didn't care for final show down... too brief and weak.
- Didn't care for all the mind control stuff from the computer chips
That all being said... I liked the time skip and their efforts to wrap everything up.
The series over had some high and low points..
Catwoman (Camren Bicondova) was amazing.
Gordon (Ben McKenzie) was beyond amazing!
Alfred (Sean Pertwee) was fantastic!
POE Soul Rend - 90%
Happened to pick a great league build..
Energy shield is OP and all the gear is super expensive
Didn't care for the league in generally and ended up playing the same as last..
Started out with Bane and it was good for leveling but made a easy switch to Soul Rend
Good sustain and map clear.. Even good single target.
Fairly cheap build.
I bet my friend at work $100 that I would have a higher level char at the end of this league than him just to motivate myself to play more. He got the highest he had ever gotten... 82..
Avengers Endgame - 95%
- Thor is my favorite.
- Favorite scene was Thor with his mommy
- I didn't see enough Thanos..
- Great effects
- Great fight scenes
- Captain America did great and him with Thor's hammer was a good fight
I felt the time travel was a crop out.. I was hoping for some kind of amazing negotiation to swap the ones who didn't vanish for those who did..
Some of the ending battle was goofy, especially all the march to battle groups... what mantis really gonna do?...
I didn't see Captain Marvel... And I don't feel like I missed anything.
Still a great movie. I had to watch it by myself after the kids went to bed at 9:00 so I didn't get home till almost 1:00...
Unexpected Journey - 95%
The Hobbit Novel - 100%
Wow, the first time I have read a book in forever....
I saw the movies like 10 years ago and my friends started discussing the books so I picked up the set.
Fantastic read! Took me over a month to get through it because I am so slow.
My wife read it too so we could watch the movies together.
The character development of Bilbo was so well done:
- First Bilbo fails with the ogres
- Then he manages to take care of himself alone with the goblins
- Then he saves the dwarfs over and over
The old language was fun.
The everything from the start all came together beautifully in the end.
The illustrations were nice.
Hope to read this again with my kids in a few years.
Stoneblock 2 - 98%
Where has this game been? Why did it take so long to discover it?
I played the crap out of Agrarian Skies and this fixed some of the major issues I had...
- No day/night cycle to annoy me
- No weather cycle to annoy me
- Better end game with the creative points
- Better quest manager
Other thoughts:
- The chicken breeding is good enough... but tedious..
- It is a hard balance to not play on a server where the game is running all the time.
- The cow breeding on top of the chickens was too much breeding...
- Never even bothered Thaumcraft
The biggest issue is that is still in the end felt like a bunch of mods..
- Mostly unbalanced
- Three different pipe systems
- Overlap in the mod packs
Best memories:
- Opening the surprise blocks and having creepers spawn all over my base and losing 6 hours..
- Spawning a rabbit having to chase it all over the base and then it didn't even drop the meat
- Dying to the chaos chicken only to find out it will kill itself
I still feel the desire to take what I have learned and go back to making my own.
