SRS Guardian - 100%

 

- Started thinking that was just a starter build and that the new gems would produce cool builds so I would swap over to them.. Well not much in the way of new builds ever came up, about half way through this build I got bored and was about to give up on it.. But then I found out about all the amazing specters. 

- Eventually got the squad of 5 Specters which changed everything. 

 - Spirit of Fortune

 - Warlord

 - Hulking Miscreation

 - Judgmental Spirit  

 - Naval Officer 

- Highest level I have ever played to - Level 97. 

- First time to kill the Maven! 

- Found two Valdo's Puzzle Boxes in one map

- Made good currency running Shaper Guardians to the Formed selling the splinters 

- Collected the entire set needed to make the King Maker. 

- Very impressed with the gloves, got them for only 6 divines!

- Very impressed with the + specter armor, got it for only 2 divines, crafted the sockets and slammed it with an exalt for a +52 dex! 

Neptune 4 Pro 3D Printer - 100%

 

- Got a 3D Printer on Black Friday, my friend recommended the Neptune 4 and it is amazing!

- Great for a first 3D Printer

- Had a few small issues but all manageable, the biggest was when a messed up print moved the proximity sensor. 

- Amazed by the prints I have been able to make so far!

- Amazing story and comedy!

- That's Amorte, good ending

- Didn't like the Mort: Ragnarick 

- Really liked Unmortricken

- Amazing Finale

House S6 - 88%

 

- James Earl Jones was amazing

- The whole rehab thing with House was OK but hated the affair 

- Didn't care for the story of the divorce of Cameron and Chase

- Good season finale

Migration - 80%

 

- Slapstick family movie

- Watched at the theatre with the fam fam

- Inconsistent but funny enough to make up for it

- Like on the plane, they made a big deal about trying to help them escape but then they were able to bust out on their own with no problem when they needed to

- At least it didn't feel like there was an agenda

Leave the World Behind - 10%

 

- Hated this movie! This is a goofery attempt to desperately portray racism undertones 

- This movie shows everything wrong with politics and should serve to show how movies like this are a poison to culture and patriotism.

House S5 - 70%

 

- They made a bad decision with how they wrote Kal Penn out when he got his job at the White House

- Lucas is an interesting character

- Didn't care for The Social Contract episode

Spy X Family - 70%

 

Started out good but jumped the shark. The tennis match was dumb. 

So much potential to work together because their powers compliment each other.. 

Got old pretty fast. 

Watched with my wife.

Not interested in watching Season 2. 

Rubik's Cube - 100%

 

Got the 3 x 3 Speed Cube by GAN, my first cube ever. Learned how to solve in about 1:30 over the course of 2 weeks. Originally wanted to get down to 1 minute but I am giving up on that. So I moved on to the 4x4 coogam and it was a fantastic progression in the puzzle, having to memorize the sides and solving the parities so I gave it to my friend and decided to splurge on the GAN 4x4 460 to checkout the magnetics. Totally worth it. Very fun and entertaining to feel the accomplishment of solving. I am not planning to buy a 5x5, I feel like I have gone far enough. 

Jujutsu Kaisen - S1 - 98%

 

Very entertaining. Very interesting narrative. Like how it voice overs and explains things and how explaining the techniques plays into the story because it makes the technique stronger. Very interesting dynamic between the "good" and "bad" guys. Gojo Satoru is a interesting dynamic because the good guys have the absolute strongest character and how the bad guys are struggling to catch up. 

POE Tornado - 95%

Sold the Ashes for 45 Divines and built a Tornado shot. Bought the bow for 20 Divines. Very strong and fast. Interesting game play having to kill everything offscreen because it is such a glass canon. 

 

Chainsaw Man - 90%

 

Pretty good. The last few episodes were very entertaining. Looking forward to the next season. A bit over the top with the main characters only motivation being sex but what do you expect with a chainsaw in your face. Very well done fight scenes. Cool special abilities. 

Tammy - 0%

 

Dumb. None of the jokes even made me smile. Boring. Unrealistic. Do not know why anyone would watch this movie.

Origami Dragonfly - 100%

 

Made the Dragon Fly from Robert Lang's Insects II and it turned out pretty good. Love this book!

One Piece Live Action - 100%

 

I got half way through the first episode with my wife and decided to give up on it. But, my brother liked it so much that I decided to go back and give it another chance. This is 100% better than the next best anime live action adaptation. Each of the actors perfectly fit the anime. The stories are perfectly represented. The snails are cool. The special effects are good. The spirit and passion is fantastic! The baddies, Buggy, Arlong, all wonderfully played. Very very good show! I can't wait to see more!

POE - EA Totems Ele - 100%

 

• About the smoothest build ever. 
• Easy leveling and end game. 
• A little slow on clearing. 
• Very good survivability. 
• Had the best luck ever, within 2 hours, I found the Ashes of the Stars and a full Fracturing Orb!
• Also had the strangest thing ever. About 2 weeks earlier I asked for a trade and the guy said wait a minute. I don't remember what it was but it was like 5c. So I waited about minutes and I asked him again for the trade and he said "oh crap! I traded it to someone else! I thought it was you but now I realize it wasn't! How can I make it up to you!?" and I said he could give me a divine and would be even. So I just logged on and he partied me and gave me a divine! Said he never forgets who he owes! I told him I was just kidding but thanks a bunch!

A Silent Voice - 90%

 

Pretty good. It was difficult to follow sometimes because of the timeline jumps. There were some cultural references that were not known to me. Something about a Koi becoming a dragon? I am not sure how he came out of that fall with no injuries at all? Internet says reincarnation? Either way, very emotional and interesting story about pain and depression dealing with bulling and being deaf. I was only able to find the dubbed version on Amazon but the voice acting was pretty good. Watched it with my wife and she liked it pretty well too. 

Ragnarok S3 - 0%

 

Awful. Ending was dumb. Acting got way worse. Story is bad. The first season was pretty good, second was OK, the third was awful. Can't believe I watched it. 

Faraway - 40%

 

Not my kind of move. Bad acting, bad story, big fat Greek wedding want to be. Actors were ugly. Watched with my wife and she kind of like it so maybe it is more of a chick flick? 

Dismal Canyon - 100%

 

Dad and I hiked Dismal Canyon. Wonderful hike. Fun reading the history at each spot. I didn't believe there was anything like this anywhere in Alabama!
