Much better than the first season.
Makoto Shishio was a good bad guy.
Liked the philosophy behind Shishino basically survival of the fittest beat desire for revenge.
Great art work on Shishino.
Really liked this quote from Shishino:
If you trust, you will be betrayed. If you are careless, you will die. Kill, or be killed. And, A good man is never far from a woman.
Shishino's test for Sadijima Hoji was amazing.
Story was good with the introduction of new skills.
Great fights and reasons for winning.
I think I liked Yumi Komagata (Shishino's girl) the most.
Still not feeling the romance between Kension and Kaoru.
Having watched every episode of the first season did add some good context but if you are short on time, you could just about skip it and this season would still be great.
Amazing for its age.
Watched subbed on Netflix.
