Lisa - Bull Snake

 

I got to hold my first bull snake a year ago at the Reptarium and I knew at that moment that one day, I wanted a bull snake of my own. 

Now the time was right. I brought "Lisa" home from Great Lakes Reptiles. 

I actually do not know if "Lisa" is a boy or a girl but my daughter gave the name. 

Lisa is very nice, has not even tried to bite me a single time. Eats well. 

I like the albino coloring because it reminds me of my old corn snake that I grew up with.

Such a disappointment after the UGears Hexapod being so great! 

It is a beautiful design but the spring that they included isn't strong enough to make it work...

 

Scout - Dog

 

Scout was born on Thanksgiving day 2021. We got him from my parents when we visited over Christmas. 

This is two pictures of him, one month apart. Seems like a pretty good dog..

The challenge is getting the kids to treat him right so he doesn't grow up a biter.

Potty training has also been a big pain.

My brother picked this up a year or so ago at a yard sale for one dollar! He sold it to me for a bit more and I just now got around to building it. Only missing one piece that I didn't already have and only a handful that I did. 

Great retro set. Main complaint is how difficult it is to pick up due to the floor panels being so flimsy.

Fantastic minifigs!

Matrix Resurrections - 40%

 

Not great. 

- It doesn't work without Morpheus.. 

- Story was just bad

- Action sequences were bad

- The meta of the game about the Matrix in a movie about the Matrix was not clever 

- Good to see ole Keanu Reeves again but they shoulda left this one alone

- I was expecting disappointment but not this bad..
