POE - HWoA Ranger

I had taken a break for a day or two after the Freezing Pulse Totem and then I saw this build guide:

Ziggy said the Shaper would be a push over with this build... well I disagree.

I put well over 800 chaos worth into the gear.

Got my armor for 310 chaos:

Got a steal on this helm for like 30 chaos:

It felt like an expensive build...
150 chaos for the Astramentis
140 chaos for the Vessel of Vinktar with the lightning penetration
130 chaos for level 21 Added Lightning Damage Support

I finally got someone to give me the last uber trial and managed solo the uber lab at level 88.
At that point I was pretty geared up. I had tried 7 times to beat it at level 80 with lesser gear... It would have been nice to get a ride.

This brings me to my two suggestions that would make POE a better game IMHO.
1. Add prophecies for each of the uber lab trials. I had played through over 200 maps and still had to go to the global 820 channel to depend on the generosity of someone else. The prophecy should be like "The next uber lab trial you will encounter will be xxx."

2.It takes sooo much walking to level. My suggestion! Allow users to buy undiscovered waypoints for in game currency. Like for 1 alchemy orb each or something. Some price that would be to much to pay the first time around but easy to pay when leveling the second or third character of the season.

The Shaper! On the 5th! Time! I beat it!!!

The Shaper is a complicated and long fight. Even after watching several videos it took 4 fails before I succeeded. I felt accomplished and satisfied. It wasn't easy! No matter how much HP or ES you got there are a ton of 1 shot kills to watch out for. I ended with 10k ES. I even had two portals left after my victory!

I completed 122 of the 126 maps. The few remaining maps do not seem worth trading for.
I tried the Hall of the Grandmasters a few times but.. I hate that map.

All in all I felt like HWoA is balanced and I hope they don't nerf it to hard.

Final passive skill tree:

Total play time = 3 days 2 hours
Death count      = 570

POE - Freezing Pulse Totem

Made it much further... About 400 chaos worth of gear.
Bought my first six link ever for 60 chaos.

Build guide here:
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1667508

Played through till level 90. Chose this build because it felt like the gear requirements were low and with the range that totems give I figured I wouldn't die as much.

I could clear most of the tier 15 maps. Boss fights were bad. I avoided when possible. I would get 1 shot even with 5k hp and 1k energy shield.

I did 66.8k dps unbuffed.

Completed 106 of the 126 total maps!

But I never made it to complete the uber lab. Couldn't even find the last trial. I wished after working so hard and making it so far that I could have gotten through the guardians and the Shaper. Sadly, this build did not feel like it would ever make it through the end game content.

It was my first time to ever play totems and it was a bit of a pain to level but was fun over all. I was glad I had the experience. At this point I felt like I was done for the season...

Total play time = 3 days 13 hours
Death count      = 232

POE - Poison Blade Flurry

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1771658

First build of the Breach season.

I looked through several builds and I had never played with Blade Flurry so... copied a build.

Spent about 100 chaos on gear all total. Didn't push through to get a six link or to buy "The Scourge Terror Claw". I didn't realize that the build is pretty much built around that claw.. Which early season was going for 3 to 4 exalts. That was out of my price range,

With the gear I had I pushed through to level 77 and was able to complete most tear 4 maps.

I decided to go for a build that wasn't so item dependent and give up on this one.

This was the first time I had played in about two years. Much had changed. Forbidden masters, prophecies, essences, hideouts, the entire atlas of worlds map system!

I wanted to conquer all the maps... At this point I didn't even know what the Shaper was.

One Piece Doflamingo - 88%

Watched another 60+ episodes and got through the Doflamingo Arc..

At this point I am really only continuing to watch because I am so invested with 760+ episodes.

The story follows the tried and true flow of:
1. There are some oppressed people.
2. Feel sorry for the oppressed.
3. Luffy and the gang have to get convinced.
4. Luffy and the gang each have their own fight and have to overcome.
5. Lots of boobs and crying.

I had taken a two year break. Now I think I will do that again...

Hidden Figures - 97%

Great movie. Highly recommend.

Most movies that are about sexism and racism etc have a great tragedy. It was nice that this one didn't really have that. I mean, yes, in a way it did but none of the three main characters suffered bodily injuries.

Great character development. Liked how each of the three women were so distinctive.

Jim Parsons did better than I thought he would.

Didn't like that they picked Mahershala Ali for Jim Johnson because he left a bad taste from Luke Cage. Didn't like Luke Cage at all..

Kevin Costner and his character Al Harrison was great!

The movie leaves you feeling inspired not just for African Americans but also for great advocates like Al Harrison and John Glenn.

There were a few slow spots but the inspiration and acting made up for it.

Suicide Squad - 75%

I expected worse with the way everyone went on about how bad it was.

This movie suffered from too many characters both on the "good" and "bad" side.

Joker had noting defining him. He felt dull and uninspired.

I hate it when a movie goes to effort to kill off a character just to bring them back 10 minutes later.. Surprise, not really dead...  This happened many times in this movie.

Some of the sub stories were good but there were too many and the main story was uninspired.

Died in molt

So the little one passed.

I found//bought a vile of flightless fruit flies from Petsmart and managed to transfer them to the tarantula container. It grew and then tried to molt. Out of the 30+ tarantulas I have cared for over the years this is the first to die this way.
