Lucy - 95%

 

• Had low expectations so it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. 
• Always a fan of Scarlett Johansson. 
• Good progression, liked the percentage showing throughout the movie. 
• Good action sequences and nature tie ins. Even though I don't believe in evolution. 
• Entertaining. Good enough CGI. 
• Liked the dichotomy between the gang going for power vs knowledge. 
• Good and fast pace. Liked that it was a short movie. 

Love is War S1 - 98%

 

• Surprisingly entertaining 
• Not really into this kind of anime but it has turned out good.
• Watched the first season with my wife. 
• Good tension. 
• The episode where she got sick and turned little was odd.
• Really funny dynamic with Fujiwara 
• Difficult to say what my favorite episode, laughed at some point in all of them

My Hero Academia S6 - 90%

 

• Seemed like they covered a lot of ground.. 
• A lot more use of his powers
• Dark Deku.. took too little to get over it but good lead up
• Tired of the bath house scenes
• Good action sequences
• Is this whole series nearing an end? Should quit while it is ahead. 

Adorned RF - 90%

 

• Bad bossing, slow... 
• Clear speed is OK
• General survive is good but not good for big bosses
• Hadn't played RF in a long time and the Adorned thing seemed cool but it isn't good enough. 
• Previous build was better with the Ice Nova of Frostbolts. 

Nova Frostbolts - 95%

 

• Started the league with a Energy Blade Penance Brand of Dissipation.. bad move
• Horrible league start. 
• Even with a lot of luck getting a good bit of currency.. couldn't get build to work
• Bossing was pretty good but clear speed was terrible and survive was the worst. 
• Could not get survive to work no matter what I did.. 
• Finally gave up and told my friend to give me some chaos to reroll or I was done for the league.
• With 150 chaos and it was just enough to buy a Ice Nova of Frost and a lot of regrets.
• Way way better build. Survive much better!
• Six linked a Loreweave in like 50 fuses. 
• Played to level 94. 
• Not a fan of Necropolis.. 

Young Sheldon - S3 - 98%

 

• The Dr. Sturgis breakdown was odd.. must have had something else going on IRL.
• Dad is cool again playing baseball with Missy. 
• The visit to Caltech and the lunchroom scene was epic. 
• Still a great show. 

Young Sheldon - S2 - 98%

 

Paige seems like they are trying to hard to play the wasted potential angle. 

Veronica staying at their house was odd, like it never happened at the start of the next episode. 

Still enjoying the series. Still better than I expected this to be. 

Dune 2 - 99%

 

• Fantastic!
• I joked that the scene where the guy who died wearing the VR targeting system was the most traumatic.
• Good pace of action
• Great music
• Great acting
• Great progression 
• Good fight sequences
• Sometimes hard to follow because I haven't read the books
• Even better than the first
• Christopher Walken was bit offputting as the emperor. 
• Austin Butler was great as Feyd-Rautha 

One Piece - Wano - 95%

 

• Whew.. Finally done! I am gonna take a long break from One Piece!
• Would have given a 100 if there was not soo many flash backs...
• Luffy's awakened power was great. 
• Super epic battles.. Great battle with Luffy and Kaidou. 
• Why won't the bad guys just stay dead???? The good guys too for that matter.. 
• Didn't like Yamato at all.
• Felt really long and dragged out... The ice daemons went on and on...  
• Great tragic story with the laughing fruit
• Will this series ever end!?

Damsel - 50%

 

• Meh, the previews spoiled everything.. 
• Acting was terrible
• Why did Elodie have to be so noisy in everything she did?... it was like she was calling dragon.
• The transition of Elodie from being a scared little baby to a big brave adult silly 
• Any move with a slow motion walkway from an explosive fire is dumb

Avatar Netflix Live - 96%

 

• Pretty good... 
• Acting was a bit awkward. 
• A little slow.
• Not as funny as the animated original. 
• Changed a lot from the animated original.. 
• Clean, watched with the entire family. 
• Progression of powers felt choppy.

House S8 - 80%

 

• Yay, it is over. 
• First episode was pretty good but it went down hill from there.
• Didn't like Dr. Chi Park at all.
• Never liked Toub..
• Dumb ending.. Replaced a the romance of Cuddy with a bromance with Wilson... 
• Lots of bad episodes... but a few that were ok. Watched this many so had to finish.

Lego A-Frame - 100%

 

Wonderful set! 

Trees are great. Hammers in the front are cool.

So much detail! 

Built all of it together with my wife. 

Good colors. Really like the geode and the furnace. 

Lego Jurassic Breakout - 100%

Great set! My daughter almost made the upright car all by herself. 

Great effect of the broken fence.

Like the bottom platform with the footprints.   

Lego Ornithopter - 95%

I really like this set... but... the wings don't wiggle like I feel they should.. 

I took it apart and double checked everything and everything was right.. 

The landing gear is amazing, the wings folding back is great. 

The overall look and size is wonderful.

Minifigures are great. 

Would have given this a 100% if the wings wiggled better. 

 

Young Sheldon - S1 - 98%

 

I was surprised at how good this show is!

Really like the family dynamic and how the dad is a decent person. 

Great connections to Big Bang!

Really really liked the episode with Elon Musk about the rockets landing!!

Sheldon's twin sister is a cool actress. 

DD Chieftain - 80%

This is the big magic find build.. It is nice and fast but the single target is sooooo bad. 

Single is so bad that I couldn't even complete the last wildwood ascendancy.. 

I tried swapping to an Annihilating Light staff for single target but that didn't work either. 

Leveled fast and watching everything explode is pretty satisfying... 

Biggest con is that by the time you have the gear to make this build work... I was rich and done playing.

 

Mageblood - 100%

Kept playing the SRS Guardian because it was such a great build and such a big currency league.

So, I decided now was the time to save up for a Mageblood!! 

I managed to get about 10 divine per hour.. So, it took about 15 hours!

I also decided to trade for a +1 spectres armor. I was very happy with this armor. I traded ~4 Divines for it, it wasn't linked and had 1 empty prefix and suffix. I crafted the damage reduction and slammed it with an exalt and got the +52 dex! Very satisfying. 

The picture is dark on the Mageblood because I failed to mouse over it before clicking print screen...

Lego Insects - 100%

Fantastic set! The Chinese Mantis is the best by far! The pistols for feet is great!

Wife got me this for my 41st birthday! 

House S7 - 85%

 

So House and Cuddy finally get together. Not great. 

All about the downfall of House and how he ends up in the slammer. 

House's reason for falling off the wagon seemed weak.

Cuddy's kid is soo convenient. Wish I had her babysitter... Always available to stay late. 

Cuddy's mom was meh.

The serial killer episode was pretty good. 

Masters was super annoying. 

Jujutsu Kaisen - S2 - 99%

 

Woah! Fantastic! Amazing fight scenes! Crazy good graphics. 

Season had a slow start.. 

The big reveal of Geto Suguru being controlled by some brain thing was a bit dumb.

Toji Fushiguro was cool.

Sukuna's big fight was fantastic. 

Mahito's voice was amazing!

Mammoth Skeleton - 100%

Printed the Woolly Mammoth Skeleton from Thingiverse! Took most of Christmas break. 

Front of ribcage took 34 hours for a single print.
