Pretty good anime..
Good character development.
Interesting culture.
The split between the marked and unmarked and how it all tied in with the whale and emotions... a lot of moving parts but it all came together pretty well.
Story was a bit complex/hard to follow here and there.
Artwork was so so in many places but good over all.
Lots of talking and not a lot of action.
I have no idea why it was rated mature.
There was very little bad language, very little risque, and very little violence.
Good set up for future episodes, I will definitely watch more.
